I almost don't want to tell anyone about this mic because I want it all for myself. At the 4 pm hour, we just sat in our seats and Cooper Rego passed the mic around. There was a "topic," but it was easily dismissed with after an earnest or satisfactory attempt at it. For me, a stand-up comic only since March 2009, it was the first time I ever riffed--if that's what you call it--to me it just meant talking and telling things that were true and they came out funny! I got to do two riffs adding up to 15 mins. of stuff I've never said out loud before! Then, there's a regular type open mic around 5:15, hosted by Cooper Rego, a smart and funny guy. Joe Romby Jr.
