Sassi is one of the best around! She is warm and friendly. There is always a positive vibe, good supportive group there. I've seen several newbies and they are supported and encouraged.

People trickle into the mic late, so if you show up on time, there may not be as many people there yet.

Sassi also runs industry shows that are great if you're looking for comedy/acting stuff.

I performed last Friday and it was the best mic that I've been to in the city. Most of the comics made me laugh or chuckle and there were only 2 crazy people.
