Scott Wallace

Today I am interviewing Scott Wallace, a comedian born in Maryland who has been doing comedy for three years. To find out more about Scott, please visit his website.

Why did you start doing stand-up comedy?

I started in Washington DC and Maryland. For a very short time I did a few shows the first year and a half. Then two years ago I moved to NYC and become serious about pursuing my goal.

What was your first time performing comedy like?

Scary as all hell, but fun and exhilarating at the same time. I sucked, but the crowd was nice about it - I totally thought I was awesome. Hah.

Have you ever reached a low point in your comedy career and how did you deal?

Yes, you reach many highs and lows, and the best way to deal is by saying "Hey, there is always another show." But it can be really tough, believe me.
