Doing better
After 2 not-so-good weeks, things are improving. I finally have my portfolio with artworks that I left on the subway back in my possession. All the fraudulent purchases made when my debit card was stolen online have been refunded. My losses in the stock market are minimal, probably because I have very little invested. My second open mic went very well, thanks to the 15 comedians who came to perform. And thanks to Vicky Kuperman, I had an opportunity to do a video interview about my website, and as soon as the video is available, I will link to it. I was interviewed by Evan Seplow, who recently launched his own website, stagebuddy.com, that lists all the free and paid shows going on in NYC. If you are a comedian who has a show coming up, I highly recommend you post it there for better exposure.

Check out my new book on Amazon.com in early November, 100 Stand-Up Comics Talk About Learning Their Craft in The Ultimate Green Room. Trust me. All your questions will be answered. I interviewed 100 comics about the process of learning stand-up. I've worked part time on staff at the Ice House Comedy in Pasadena for 15 years.
