On kidnapping

I was thinking that when you kidnap somebody's kid and you demand a ransom, right away there's a problem. As soon as you give up the kid, the cops are going to go after you and there's nothing you can do. That's why when if I was doing a kidnapping, I'd kidnap 2 kids. From the same family. The family would give me the money and I'd give them the first kid. Then I would keep the second kid in a hiding place, while I escape the country. The cops can't touch me as long as I have the second kid, and once I'm free, I will tell them where the second kid is. And everybody's happy. Sort of.
