Crime drop
There are a lot of cities in America with high crime rates and I'm confident the crime rate would drop if those cities had a bigger police presence. The question is, who should pay for more cops on the street? And my answer is - criminals. Everytime a criminal is caught for any crime, he should pay a large fine, which will pay the salary of a new police officer. That way, as the city's crime
rate rises, the city's police presence would rise accordingly. Which means the amount of criminals and cops will be set by the market.

i wouldn't mind if the crime rate went up a little bit. because then the rent in this city would drop a little bit also and there would be less tourists running around creating street traffic. god damn gentrification. lol.
