Amazing story

What if I told you an amazing story about 5 kids? They were swimming during a storm and were almost eaten by a shark but all of a sudden lightning had struck and killed the shark. You might say this proves that God exist. Well, that never happened. What did happened is that 5 kids were praying during a storm to an iron statue of Jesus, when all of a sudden lightning struck and killed every single one of them. This is a 100% true story. Does this prove that God doesn't exist? Or does it just prove that God has a sense of humor?
