Write everything down

When it comes to writing stand-up comedy, I follow a very simple rule - write everything down. Every joke, every dream, every idea, every day. Carrying ideas around in your head without writing them down is like walking around with travel bags all day, every day. Sooner or later, you are going to lose them. In addition, seeing your ideas in writing will encourage you to write down even more ideas, because success breeds success. It is all about psychology.
