That's not funny
If you're committed to writing every day, your next step is to finding something to write about. My advice is to write about something that's not funny. On purpose. Because if you're going to try to write funny stuff every day, then every day you're going to be second-guessing yourself and forever asking "Is this funny?" The quickest way to write yourself into a writer's block is by trying to write a high-quality piece every day. Instead, do the opposite. Free your mind from self-censorship. Write something non-funny. It feels good.
