Review: Comic Strip Tuesday open mic

My other favorite open mic is held every Tuesday at the Comic Strip Live. It is hosted by the amazing Gladys, who has coached many of the famous comedians performing today. I also want to mention her terrific boyfriend Bob, who keeps everything running smoothly. This mic costs $11, which includes one drink, a chance to perform in a real comedy club, a video recording and a critique of your set by Gladys herself. That's a great bargain even if you're Jewish (like me.) Please note that if you want to tape your set, then you must bring your own VHS tape, write your name on it and give it to the co-host (sitting next to Gladys) ahead of time.
