One year long

There comes a time in everyone's life when you need to re-evaluate your choices. For me, that time is a year from the time I start something. I strongly believe one year is the best measure of progress and I apply it to everything, from comedy to dating. Anything more is too long, anything less is too short. There were at least two times when I wanted to quit doing stand-up during my first year. I'm sure there will be at least two times when I will want to quit blogging since this is my first year and success is nowhere in sight. But until January 2009 rolls around, I'm sticking with it.
