Erase nothing

To continue the idea of my last post, the other simple rule I follow when it comes to writing stand-up comedy is this - never erase anything. If you don't like your funny stuff mixing with your non-funny stuff, separate them into different documents. But never erase something because it isn't funny. I lost too many damn good jokes that way.
